The Mathilde Vendramin Ensemble is a contemporary jazz quartet based in Berlin, combining voice, cello, piano, bass, and drums to create a unique space between contemporary jazz, songwriting, and experimental chamber music.

Mathilde Vendramin moves seamlessly between cello, voice, and leading instrumental roles, shaping an “extended quartet” sound full of intimacy and intensity. Through asymmetric grooves, chamber- like soundscapes, spoken words, and the interplay of four versatile soloists, the music unfolds like small theatrical scenes, always driven by melody, multilingual lyrics in French, English, and Portuguese, and dynamic group interplay.
